Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We understand our patients have busy lives, so we do try to offer before and after school appointments for regular adjustments. For long appointments, such as having braces placed or removed, we have specific longer appointment times set up during the day.
We request a 48-hour notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, but we appreciate you calling to let us know so we can make that time available for another guest of our office to come during that time.
We schedule patient appointments to adjust braces from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday – Friday. New patients are seen until 6:00pm. We alternate between the Bettendorf and Rock Island offices, so please call to confirm which office we are in on a given day.
As an extra incentive for patients to keep their teeth healthy during treatment, we offer a Tooth Token program that rewards patients for good oral hygiene and taking care of their braces. Patients earn tokens to save or spend on prizes in our display case, ranging from gift cards to t-shirts and water bottles as our way of encouraging them to take good care of braces and thanking them for their efforts.
We offer Dental Monitoring to follow our aligner patients with weekly photos and evaluations to track progress. This allows us to monitor treatment more closely while saving patients trips to the office. We respect your time and have the capacity to analyze photos using artificial intelligence to determine how treatment is progressing. Fewer trips to the office helps our patients keep up with their busy schedules. We also offer Virtual Smile Consultations for new and active patients to reach out directly to our office.
There are very few true orthodontics emergencies. Most can be remedied at home. However, if you have a situation that you cannot resolve on your own, call us as soon as possible. If it is after hours, we have a contact number on the answering machine to reach a team member who is on call.
